Creativity and the Veil of Addiction

We live in an age of addiction to power, control, speed, money alcohol, drugs, romance, sex, and even the internet. I will speak on some of the archetypal characters that I see undelying all addictions and how their energies might be re-directed toward creativity. The addict and the person struggling to create confront many of the same archetypal experiences: the descent into the underworld of the psyche, the confrontation with the inner figures that dwell there, and the possibilities for transformation.
